Position Details

This position is a key supportive role to the full-time Groundskeeping staff. Successful candidate needs to enjoy working outdoors in various weather conditions and working with his/her hands. Promptness and dependability are important. Ability to work independently and as a team is desired. Farm background or previous grounds experience is a plus but not required. This is an opportunity to have a direct impact on the grounds appearance on campus. Responsibilities Include: Mowing Trimming Tree Care Watering new plantings and seeded areas Seasonal cleanup, leaf and storm debris removal Applying fertilizer Supervised pest control Snow removal Athletic field maintenance Caring for greenhouse plants General turf care Seasonal planting of perennials, bulbs and other landscape features Parking lot maintenance
