Rev. Tony Fisher came to ministry late, following a successful 35-year career in educational publishing. He entered Andover Newton Theological School in 2010 at the age of 58, was ordained into the Unitarian Universalist ministry in 2014, and called to the Unitarian Universalist Congregation of Greater Naples that same year.

Rev. Fisher chose the ministry to serve people and to serve justice. While not being one to seek the limelight, the longer he’s been around to witness the inequities in our society (and his part in it), the more he has felt the need to change within and to speak up for change in the world. He studied for a graduate certificate in Conflict Transformation in order to gain a better understanding of conflict and to learn strategies for creating change from within discord and division.
