Marie-José Tayah is the co-founder of Conflict Analysis and Intervention Group (CAAIG), and a doctoral candidate in transnational and comparative politics and policies at the Department of Political Science at Kent State University. Her research focuses on the immigration politics and policies of the Arab Gulf. Tayah was a Fulbright Conflict Resolution graduate grantee in 2006-2008 and a Junior Research Expert and Evaluator at the United Nations Economic and Social Commission for Western Asia in 2005-2006.

Tayah manages the MENA Regional Office in Beirut, Lebanon, and heads up the peacebuilding section of CAAIG.
