Peace educator

After graduating from CJP and a few years of working in South Korea, I went to England to do research on public conflict resolution, earning a PhD in Peace Studies at the University of Bradford in December 2008. Since then I have been working in South Korea as a peace researcher, peace educator and trainer focusing on conflict transformation and peacebuilding in different social sectors. I published a book titled Conflict Resolution in Korean Society in 2010. I also translated a book entitled Managing Public Disputes. Both of books are my efforts to introduce conflict resolution/transformation to Korean society and encourage people to take different approaches based on dialogue and collaboration to conflict, especially to social conflict. My recent interest includes peace education for young adults and the general public. I have been especially working with religious organizations including my church to develop peace education programs.
