Debra is a medical anthropologist academic and health and human rights activist with a longstanding international commitment to victim/survivor advocacy at the grassroots level and with international agencies of the United Nations. She is also a community peace and justice facilitator with an approach that blends an exploration of our inner worlds with our interpersonal relationships and that is rooted in Nonviolent Communication (NVC), conflict transformation practices and neuroscience.
