Cristian David Quezada is originally from Chile, where he studied Law and practiced human rights law before moving to Virginia to study at CJP. After finishing the MA in Conflict Transformation, Cristian worked in the juvenile detention center system in the U.S. and subsequently moved to Vancouver, Canada where he became an associate board member of the Vancouver Association for Restorative Justice and where he also works with religious organizations, such as synagogues and churches, as an organizational conflict specialist helping them navigate through conflicts and decision-making processes. Cristian works closely with his wife, Anita, assisting individuals and organizations in creating and sustaining trauma-informed strategies.
