Director, Council for Restorative Justice (CRJ)
Formerly known as the Georgia Council for Restorative Justice/GCRJ, CRJ is a foundation-funded program housed in the School of Social Work at Georgia State University in Atlanta, GA. This project, begun in June 2006, directly grew out of restorative justice work in defense-initiated victim outreach (DIVO) that began at the Restorative Justice department of the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. At CRJ, our primary focus is on serving the needs of victim-survivors in death penalty cases, including victim-offender mediation. In addition, the project also responds to requests for services for victims and victim-survivors in non-capital cases of severe violence.
