    • Hanna calls meeting to order at 8:05pm.
    • Prayer requests and time of meditation.

    • Minutes approved.

    • Photos for Marketing
      • Photographing senate moved to next week, on Wednesday October 28th.
  • Old Business
    • Tyler outlines Club Fund Policy Guideline
      • Jim Lehman has been contacted and will be a spokesperson for potentially moving forward with Investment Club
    • Points of Action Feedback
      • Inclusion and Diversity Council: Photo project will start next week with the SGA head-shots.
      • Spirit Committee: Response from Dave King was positive. In moving forward, Bruce Emerson will be contacted to discuss a meal location.
      • Community Involvement Committee: Clothing drive. Donation boxes dispersed around campus. In moving forward, decide incentive for a contest format.
      • Ministry of Money Management: Continue to be in correspondence with Jim Lehman.
  • New Business
    • Funding Request: Social Work is People
      • Materials for Take Back the Night event. Requesting $1,035
      • Mario: Wondering about a plan if they have access funds after the event.
      • Nicole: Interested in the prospect of leftover funds going to an organization related to sexual violence prevention.
      • Bethany: Wondering if the Collins center would be an ideal candidate for potential access funds
      • Jessamyn: Concerned that funds should be sustainable. Poses idea of having t-shirt sales role over into next year funding for Take Back the Night.
      • Tyler: USO breaks down the  USO funds to $3,000 this year.
      • Mario motions to give SWIP the full amount of $1235 ($717 from USO and $518 from SGA) with contingency that money from t-shirt sales will be used in the future years. Robert seconds.

    • Funding Request: Peace Fellowship
      • Rachel Bowman is here representing Peace Fellowship. Asking $1,215 to send students to MCC UN conference in NYC. Covering partial registration cost, transportation, and housing for students.
      • Nicole: Impressed by Peace Fellowship taking our concerns into consideration.
      • Mario motions to give Peace Fellowship the full amount of $1,215. Jessamyn seconds.

  • Open Floor
    • Mario: Raises the issue of increasing the student fees, to meet needs of new, rising clubs.
      • Sarah: Even small increments of student fees add up over the years.
      • Vi: It may be an issue to discuss raising student fees, while also discussing investing role over funds.
      • Hanna: clarifies that this topic is an important discussion, and will be tabled for a different time.
