Paranjoy Bordoloi is a Fulbright Conflict Resolution Fellow (05-07). He holds a PhD from the Department of Communication and Journalism, Gauhati University, Assam India. His PhD dissertation is entitled the “Role of Print Media in the Conflict Situation of Assam with special reference to ULFA.” See some of his academic work here.
He is currently working as a State Information, Education & Communication Officer for Revised National Tuberculosis Program (RNTCP) where he is responsible to develop as well as implement communication strategy for the programme in the state.
Apart from his official work and academic engagements, he has been actively associated with a few community organizations and working for youth development. He has envisioned starting a peacebuilding network to work for peace in North East India.
