Y-Serve (Young People’s Christian Association) is the longest-running student organization at EMU! We are students eager to offer service to our community and beyond. Our goal is to serve others as the hands and feet of Jesus.

Y-Serve at Eastern Mennonite University in Virginia

Sign up for Spring Break Y-Trips! in the Northlawn Dining Hall foyer. The cost is $150 ($250 for the Civil Rights Learning Tour) with $50 of this being non-refundable. Payment in full secures your place on a trip. Some scholarships are available.

Spring Break Y-Trips 2017

Spring Break Y-Trips build friendships through serving others in various locations across the east coast and the south. Plan for March 4-12, 2017.

Kid’s Club (neighborhood children’s ministry)

Mondays from 5:15-7:15 p.m. at Immanuel Mennonite Church
Mondays from 5:30-7 p.m. at Merriwether Hills – Eastside Church
Tuesdays from 5:15-7:30 p.m. at Brown Memorial Community Church
Wednesdays from 5:30-7:30 p.m. at Waynesboro Mennonite Church
Wednesdays from 4:30-6 p.m. at Ridgeway Mennonite Church

Limited scholarships are available to help students participate in workshops, seminars and conferences related to Christian service.
