Check back in February for more photos of life on campus at EMU.
We hope you feel like a part of the EMU community long after you graduate and move away from campus!
You steer our college in many ways:
some 17,054 EMU graduates serve around the world as pastors, community leaders, business owners, peacebuilders, health care providers, educators and more!
Your input about our campus happenings and programming is important to us, too. We want to hear from you!
We need your help in recruitment, too. The memories you share with the next generation of your family and church have a big impact on college choice. Read how "EMU Doubles the National Average of Children Going to Alma Mater."
So stay in touch with us and your classmates. Learn what's happening on campus now. And help shape the future of EMU!
2009 Homecoming and Family Weekend
Plan to be here Oct. 9-11 for a great celebration of life at EMU! In addition to reunions and many other get-togethers, we're looking forward to these highlights:
-
Reunion Vocal Band will fill Lehman Auditorium on Saturday night with a blend of folk, folk-rock, gospel, country, and a bit of jazz. Formed in 1989, the band brings together a talented collection of Mennonite musicians, singers, and song writers hailing from all over the continent.
-
An 'All-Time Library Reunion' and the opening of the Unity Bell exhibit on Saturday! Everyone is invited to view the newly created display that chronicles the history of what came to be known as the "Unity Bell", as well as the story of the 1969 "Library Drive."
-
Dr. Joseph B. Martin '59, Harvard professor of neurobiology and former medical school dean, will be the 2009 Suter Science Summit keynote speaker. His presentation will be followed by faculty-led tours of the science center and a report on plans to construct new labs and renovate the entire facility.
