The series is part of efforts by a newly formed Creation Care Council. The council provides a forum for faculty, staff and students to talk about various aspects of campus life — how we eat, worship, travel and play — and how those aspects fit into the community’s vision for sustainable living.

Dr. David Orr addresses the EMU community and the Board of Trustees on the topic of green building on college campuses. Orr chairs the Environmental Studies Program at Oberlin College, and spearheaded the effort to design the institution’s Adam Joseph Lewis Center for Environmental Studies.
