On Saturday, December 5th, five second-year students in the MA in Biomedicine program presented and defended their thesis projects. These students have been diligently working on their thesis projects since the Summer of 2015. Throughout the presentations, the students provided the audience with an introduction/background information, methods&materials, data analysis&results, conclusions, limitations, and potential future studies. Below are the names and titles of the presentations:

- Vip Nayani: “The Effect of Collegiate Athletic Training Duration on Athlete Injury Incidence at Eastern Mennonite University”
- Tareq Yousef: “Cost Analysis of Dental Services Before and After the Implementation of the Affordable Care Act in the Washington, D.C. Metropolitan Area and the Shenandoah Valley Region of Virginia”
- Jared Fernandez: “Carcinogenic Compounds Created by the Vaporization of Electronic Cigarette Liquid: Effects of Variable Voltage within the Modified Electronic Cigarette”
- Rachel Thomas: “A Data Analysis on Demographic Information of Patients with ADHD at Harrisonburg Family Practice”
