The Fitness Center offers a variety of classes in the Group Exercise Room. Classes are open to EMU students, faculty, staff and community members. Cost per class varies. For more information on classes contact the Fitness Center at (540) 432-4341, or email .
Spring Semester 2017 Exercise Classes
This semester we will be offering Yoga, An Exercise Boot Camp, and Pilates classes. You can register for all classes online at the websites below or you can buy a day pass at the front desk (as long as the class has not reached maximum participants).
Price For Classes: $20/EMU Student, $50 EMU Faculty/Staff, $65 Community Member, $5 Single Day Pass
Prices are for one Full semester registration. For all classes: No refunds after the first day of class.
You will be asked to sign-in on the clipboard that the instructor has at the beginning of each class session
-Boot Camp Intensity Training
This is a High Intensity Interval Training class at a lower level so that workouts can last 1 hour (60 minute class). If you enjoyed the H.I.I.T class we had in the fall, you’ll enjoy this class just as much!
This is an excellent class to help jump start those New Year’s Resolutions or jump start that summer look you are wanting.
Classes are held on Thursdays 5:30 – 6:30 pm in the Fitness Center Exercise Room
