Marketing and Communications

Through his education and professional experience in digital media, Jon has developed a wide range of marketing and communications skills, including graphic design, photography, video production, animation, audio production, branding, and illustration. As the brand identity manager for EMU he oversees and develops all the visual elements that represent EMU’s brand, including print materials, websites, logos, colors, fonts, graphics, and signage. He is also the primary designer and photographer for EMU’s alumni magazine, Crossroads, and Peacebuilder magazine for the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding. Jon graduated from EMU in 2007. He worked as a print designer, web designer, illustrator, videographer, and photographer for several companies in Harrisonburg, before starting at EMU in March 2008. Outside of work his interests include design, music, photography, art, illustration, food and cooking.
