Why I love to work at EMU

I grew up in Harrisonburg, went away for college, but came back because I absolutely love living here. EMU fits me perfectly because I believe the college experience at a small school is invaluable and strongly support EMU’s commitment to educating culturally aware student leaders.

Favorite things to do in Harrisonburg

Eating at local restaurants and food trucks, hiking and camping in the George Washington National Forest, watching the sunset over the mountains, playing tennis on the EMU tennis courts.

What some of my friends are up to

Graduate school, pharmacy school, working for Bloomberg in NYC, working for other universities around Virginia, and one is even training to be a pilot!

Anything else you should know about me?

I LOVE traveling! I have been to about 10 countries in Europe, but have an extensive “to-go” list including: Australia, New Zealand, Egypt, South Africa and Ireland.
