In moving forward, Bruce Emerson will be contacted to discuss a meal location.<\/li>\n<li>Community Involvement Committee: Clothing drive. Donation boxes dispersed around campus. In moving forward, decide incentive for a contest format.<\/li>\n<li>Ministry of Money Management: Continue to be in correspondence with Jim Lehman.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>New Business\n<ul>\n<li>Funding Request: Social Work is People\n<ul>\n<li>Materials for Take Back the Night event. Requesting $1,035<\/li>\n<li>Mario: Wondering about a plan if they have access funds after the event.<\/li>\n<li>Nicole: Interested in the prospect of leftover funds going to an organization related to sexual violence prevention.<\/li>\n<li>Bethany: Wondering if the Collins center would be an ideal candidate for potential access funds<\/li>\n<li>Jessamyn: Concerned that funds should be sustainable. Poses idea of having t-shirt sales role over into next year funding for Take Back the Night.<\/li>\n<li>Tyler: USO breaks down the \u00a0USO funds to $3,000 this year.<\/li>\n<li>Mario motions to give SWIP the full amount of $1235 ($717 from USO and $518 from SGA) with contingency that money from t-shirt sales will be used in the future years. Asking $1,215 to send students to MCC UN conference in NYC. Covering partial registration cost, transportation, and housing for students.<\/li>\n<li>Nicole: Impressed by Peace Fellowship taking our concerns into consideration.<\/li>\n<li>Mario motions to give Peace Fellowship the full amount of $1,215. Jessamyn seconds.\n<ul>\n<li>In Favor: 12<\/li>\n<li>Abstaining: 0<\/li>\n<li>Opposed: 2<\/li>\n<li>Motion passed.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Open Floor\n<ul>\n<li>Mario: Raises the issue of increasing the student fees, to meet needs of new, rising clubs.\n<ul>\n<li>Sarah: Even small increments of student fees add up over the years.<\/li>\n<li>Vi: It may be an issue to discuss raising student fees, while also discussing investing role over funds.<\/li>\n<li>Hanna: clarifies that this topic is an important discussion, and will be tabled for a different time.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<\/li>\n<li>Robert motions to adjourn the meeting.
