She developed this during her practicum with <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/newbridgesirc.org\/\" target=\"_blank\">New Bridges Immigrant Resource Center<\/a>. The <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/peacebuilding-and-development\/practicum\" target=\"_blank\">PXD practicum<\/a> is an opportunity for students to gain professional experience while also developing as reflective practitioners, applying the knowledge and skills they are learning in the classroom. The toolkit she developed encourages peacebuilding practitioners to pay attention to their mental, physical and emotional well-being in order to fully give themselves to the work. Her theory of change is \u201cIf Peacebuilders do the work of building resilience, then their capacity for mitigating stress and secondary trauma will increase\u201d.
