From her first pair of Jordans to manifesting liberation and justice. She explores her childhood and current aspirations through a series of stories.&nbsp; Jodie Geddes, a 2016 alumni of the EMU Center for Justice and Peacebuilding, addresses the campus community as part of&nbsp;<a href=\"https:\/\/www.history.com\/topics\/holidays\/womens-history-month\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Women&#8217;s History Month<\/a>.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p><a href=\"https:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/peacebuilder\/cjp-alumni\/jodie-geddes\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">Jodie&nbsp;Geddes<\/a>&nbsp;is an international speaker on restorative justice, author, and advocate for racial healing and&nbsp;justice. A Jamaican, West Indies native by way of Brooklyn, NY,&nbsp;Jodie&nbsp;uses her story as a catalyst for creating new narratives about the black experience and the possibilities for healing.
