He has worked with several non-profit organizations in the areas of popular education, nonprofit management, and community organizing. After finishing his studies at <span class=\"caps\">EMU<\/span>, he went to Washington D.C where he worked at a family literacy program for immigrant families and, more recently, worked as program coordinator at Thrive DC, a support center for people experiencing homelessness.
