Matt\u2019s gift of song and awareness of music\u2019s formative work provide a way for us to experience the questions evoked and responses engaged in hymns and songs as we follow Christ on this journey of faith.<\/p>\n<div id=\"stcpDiv\">\n<p>Seminary Dean <a href=\"http:\/\/www.emu.edu\/personnel\/people\/show\/mak337\">Dr. Michael King<\/a> has begun to articulate a vision for EMS as a \u201cDiscernment Training Center\u201d (see <a href=\"http:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/podcast\/2012\/08\/28\/from-position-statements-to-communities-of-discernment-dr-michael-king\/\">Convocation, Fall 2012<\/a> and <a href=\"http:\/\/emu.edu\/now\/podcast\/2013\/08\/27\/grandparents-dreaming-grandchildren-seeing-dr-michael-king\/\">Convocation, Fall 2013<\/a>). This fall semester, Seminary Faculty and staff are sharing about their own awareness of the topic of discernment through the lens of their own particular discipline or area of study.<\/p>\n<p>The entire campus community is invited to every chapel service on campus.
