Tin Tin Yee

After graduation from CJP in December, 2006, Tin Tin worked with Catholic Charities in Louisville, Kentucky for Optional Practical Training as an Inter-cultural Mediator to assist fellow migrant people in their early life in the United States of America. After returning to Myanmar, Tin Tin worked with Norwegian Church Aid as a National Program Coordinator in 2008 which was then working with 4-local partners which are Karen Baptist Convention, Myanmar Council of Churches, National YMCA (Myanmar), and Spirit in Education Movement (SEM) in order to assist in their development and peacebuilding initiatives.

Tin Tin worked for a number of years as a freelance consultant and trainer specializing on women’s rights, gender equality, women’s empowerment, conflict transformation & peacebuilding, and Quality and Accountability among faith-based organizations and other local NGOs including conducting evaluation for the Another Step to Justice (Peace Committee) project of Shalom foundation as an external evaluator in 2010.

In September, 2011, Tin Tin attended the International Workshop on Women and Children in MASHAV (Haifa, Israel) as a volunteering advisor of a local NGO for upcoming Gender Based Violence Project in Myanmar.

Currently she is working with USAID PRLP as an Access to Justice Advisor. http://www.tetratechdpk.com
