The intent of Peacebuilder Online is to facilitate a vibrant and interactive online space that explores issues and tell stories important to the fields of peacebuilding today. Peacebuilder Online is the web companion to Peacebuilder magazine, which is produced biannually by the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding (CJP) at Eastern Mennonite University to disseminate news and insights from people associated with CJP’s graduate program in conflict transformation, Summer Peacebuilding Institute (SPI), Strategies for Trauma Awareness and Resilience (STAR), Women’s Peacebuilding Leadership Program, Coming to the Table, and other CJP-affiliated programs.

The articles for Peacebuilder magazine which appear both in print and online are written or compiled by editor Bonnie Price Lofton, who earned an MA from CJP in 2004. Exceptions to this are noted at the end of articles. The blog posts which appear on Peacebuilder Online are written by CJP faculty or instructors, staff, alumni, and students, and are edited by CJP staff before being published on the web. Though edited, the views expressed in blog posts by their authors are not necessarily representative of the Center for Justice and Peacebuilding or Eastern Mennonite University.
