Hannah Chappell-Dick \u201816<\/strong> has been promoted to head women\u2019s cross country coach and assistant track & field coach at Brown University. Chappell-Dick is in her second season on the Bears staff, having served as the lead<\/a> in overseeing the women\u2019s cross country team and the distance runners.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

She was a graduate assistant cross country and track & field coach for two years (2019\u20132021) at the University of Florida, where she earned her MBA. She was a volunteer assistant coach at Georgia Tech from 2018\u20132019 and interim head coach<\/a> of men\u2019s and women\u2019s cross country at EMU in 2017. As a student-athlete at EMU, Chappell-Dick was one of 30 NCAA Women of the Year<\/a> Honorees, a five-time NCAA DIII All-American<\/a> and held school records in seven events.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cI’m very excited to begin the next chapter of the Brown Women’s XC Program as the new head coach,\u201d Chappell-Dick said. \u201cThe women on this team have always had a strong, inclusive culture. We have been fostering a new level of dedication to the pursuit of competitive excellence. Every woman on the roster plays an important role in both maintaining the supportive culture that they have built and challenging each other to pursue higher goals.
