While sharing information about nutrition, birth control and diabetes last summer, Katelyn Sellars<\/strong> experienced what it would be like to have face-to-face interactions with patients in a clinic. The nursing student at Eastern Mennonite University said the opportunity helped increase her confidence and learn about holistic approaches to patient care.<\/p>\n\n\n\n Sellars interned with Mary\u2019s Center<\/a>, a community health center, while studying at EMU\u2019s Washington Community Scholars\u2019 Center<\/a>. WCSC programs run in the fall and spring semesters, and in the summer.
