She participated in two programs that helped to define her current work: Service Adventure after graduation from Eastern Mennonite High School and Serving and Learning Together (SALT), a Mennonite Central Committee program, after earning her degree at EMU. She  volunteered at a nursing school in Zambia for a year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Jantzi now works&nbsp;at the 32-bed, in-patient residence.
