Solon, VA\/Fort Defiance) has added another first to her personal accolades \u2013 Eastern Mennonite University&#8217;s (EMU) first National Fastpitch Coaches Association All-Atlantic Region First Team honor.<\/p>\n<p>Allman also owns five program records and was named All-ODAC First Team earlier this spring. She is now eligible for All-America consideration by the NFCA. Only the 120 women on the eight regions&#8217; First Teams are eligible for All-America.<\/p>\n<p>Allman led EMU in nine offensive categories, including batting average, homeruns and RBIs.\u00a0 She batted .422 in her final campaign, with eight homers and 46 RBIs, which tied a program record. Allman had 49 hits, including 11 doubles, to go with 17 walks for an impressive .507 on-base percentage. She struck out only 11 times and had a slugging percentage of .724.<\/p>\n<p>On the conference level, Allman finished in the top ten in the ODAC in nine categories, including being fifth in homeruns, RBIs, total bases, walks and on-base percentage.<\/p>\n<p>The infielder\/designated player leaves the Lady Royals with records of: homeruns in season (9), RBIs in a season (46 \u2013 tied with Hall of Honor member Karla Alderfer), career homeruns (31), career RBIs (151) and career walks (52).<\/p>\n<p>This is the second All-Region nod for Allman, who was named All-Region Second Team in 2012.\u00a0 She was one of six ODAC women named to the First Team this year.<\/p>\n<p>Eastern Mennonite finished the 2013 season with a record of 21-19, qualifying for the ODAC Tournament for the eighth consecutive season.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Senior Courtney Allman (Mt.
