Meador\"\/><br \/>Dr. Keith G. Meador, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and co-director of the Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health at Duke University Medical Center<\/div>\n<p>The intersection of spirituality and health is the focus of the next <a href=\"\/biology\/seminar\">Suter Science Seminar<\/a> to be held at EMU. <\/p>\n<p> Dr. Keith G. Meador, professor of psychiatry and behavioral sciences and co-director of the Center for Spirituality, Theology and Health at Duke University Medical Center, will address the topic 4 p.m. Friday, Oct. 26, in the Suter Science Center auditorium (S-106). <\/p>\n<p> Meador, who is also a senior fellow in theology and health at Duke Divinity School, will examine the theological implications of current conversations on &#8220;spirituality and health in a therapeutic culture&#8221; and possibilities for further development of the dialog. <\/p>\n<p><a href=\"\/personnel\/people\/show\/brubakeb\"> Dr. Beryl H. Brubaker, EMU provost<\/a>, and <a href=\"\/personnel\/people\/show\/grimsrud?ssi=bible\">Dr. Ted Grimsrud, associate professor of religion<\/a>, will give responses to the presentation. <\/p>\n<p> Admission to the seminar, which is co-sponsored by the <a href=\"\/sass\/\">Shenandoah Anabaptist Science Society<\/a>, is free.
