What is your major?\u00a0 What do you hope to do?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Nursing<\/a>.\u00a0 I want to work in a hospital but I also want to do something with missions.<\/p>\n

What originally made you choose to come to EMU?<\/strong><\/p>\n

My whole family went here, but they also have a really good nursing program.\u00a0 That\u2019s what made me choose EMU over other colleges.<\/p>\n

What has it been like playing women\u2019s soccer here?<\/strong><\/p>\n

These last two years were rough, but it\u2019s been fun and I still love soccer.\u00a0 It\u2019s definitely been challenging when you don\u2019t have so many players and you\u2019re part of a rebuilding time.\u00a0 There are a lot of freshmen this year, so if everyone sticks with it and we bring in more new players, then we\u2019ll have a strong team.<\/p>\n

What has it been like being both a student and an athlete while at EMU?<\/strong><\/p>\n

It\u2019s different from high school because I had to learn how to time mange a lot.\u00a0 I would be busy with soccer, but I would have a lot of homework as well.\u00a0 I feel that with having the soccer activities I learned to manage my time better so I could get everything done.<\/p>\n

Your team\u2019s ability to compete has been affected by a small roster size both of your seasons here.\u00a0 What has that been like?<\/strong><\/p>\n

I get lots of playing time!\u00a0 It is hard because if people get injured, if they are sore or have tweaked something, then they can\u2019t always come out.\u00a0 So we just have to stay healthy and try our best.<\/p>\n

What are one or two things you have learned from playing your sport here that you will take with you when you leave?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Attitude is key.\u00a0 Having a positive attitude about things usually makes the experience more positive.\u00a0 Time managing was a big one and being able to balance multiple things will help me in the future, especially with nursing.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
