career services<\/a> and project coordinator. <\/p>\n Students, faculty and staff are all donating items. Dormitories are competing to see which hall can fill the most kits. Community persons are invited to donate items or give cash contributions toward kit contents by Feb 12. <\/p>\n
Each kit includes: 1 toothbrush (adult size, left in wrapper), 1 squeeze-tube toothpaste (minimum 6 oz., leave in box), 1 wrapped bar soap, 1 fingernail clipper and 1 hand towel (dark color). A $5 donation would purchase the contents for one kit. <\/p>\n
Kits will be assembled by students during Mission Service Days, Feb 14 and 15. Representatives of church-related service agencies will have displays in the Campus Center Greeting Hall and will be available to talk with students and area residents about service openings with their organizations. <\/p>\n
“The Kitz Blitz and mission recruitment combines opportunites to be of service on campus as well as other domestic and international opportunities,” Nafziger said. <\/p>\n
