Gbowee Opens Up on Life after Nobel Prize

Leymah Gbowee, one of three recipients of the 2011 Nobel Peace Prize and Eastern Mennonite University Alumnus of the Year, spoke with the Daily Observer about life after the peace prize and her foundation, “Gbowee Peace Foundation Africa.”

Gbowee earned a master’s degree in conflict transformation from EMU’s Center for Justice and Peacebuilding in 2007.
