Eastern Mennonite University announces the 2012 EMU President’s Cup Golf Classic for Thursday, March 8, in Sarasota, Fla. The event, at Misty Creek Country Club, is for EMU alumni, students, parents and friends.
The school has tried to maintain a presence in the Sarasota area over its spring break, and this year the Golf Classic is being held in association with the Appreciation Banquet on Tuesday, March 6, at Sunnyside Village.
Tee-time for the scramble format outing is 1 p.m., with registration starting at noon. Cost is $85 per golfer, which includes greens fees, cart and dinner. A separate price for dinner only is $30 per person. Proceeds go to EMU Athletics.
