Discussion on “MA in Counseling to Host Open House

  1. Hello,

I am actually at the very end of the master’s program in mental health counseling at Walden University (an on-line CACREP accredited program). My remaining course work is one class in Crisis Intervention. My gpa is 97.3 I believe and I have completed a practicum experience at a homeless shelter in Staunton, VA under the supervision of Dr. Tom Arbaugh. I have been unable to locate an internship and am wondering about the possibility of transferring some of my credits and entering your program so that I can successfully complete my degree. Would it serve me to come to your open house? Is it possible to transfer many of my credits or would I have to start over?

Thank you for your assistance with these questions.

    Regards,

    Donna M. Loney
