Information Systems is offering training to interested parties. These sessions are being held Thursday afternoon, August 20, 2009. Each session will run around 45 minutes in length. All sessions will be held in the Strite Conference Room in the Campus Center.

|Will present training on the new myEMU (my.emu.edu) intranet website. Ben will be explaining the ins and outs of the site. As an EMU employee, you can use myEMU for many different purposes but many of us are still learning how to get around in it. We believe this training session will be beneficial for all.|
|Projection Systems & Blackboard
|Projection Systems: We will have some time to look at what has been done to streamline the classrooms on campus. I will also field questions that users might have of systems on campus.
Blackboard: The time we spend with Blackboard can be up to you. I will certainly answer any questions that you might have. I will also plan to start the time with some things that might help as you get ready to upload and move materials over to your new classes for this Fall.
|Have you been wanting to move to Office 2007 but just think that you will feel lost with the new layout and look? Come for a time of learning about the new setup and how they have chosen to organize the features. An introduction like this will sure go a long way in helping you make the jump. It will take away some of your fears and when you move over you will then be as productive as ever! We mainly will look at the changes done specifically to Word and Excel. Questions are welcome as well if you have started to use Office 2007 but still don’t have it all figured out yet.|
