It is important to note that if there is a lot of text in your post you should use the ‘more’ tag. This is the 
tab above the text editor. This will include a “read more” link in your post when it is in a list (like in the homepage). It makes sense to add this at the end of a paragraph or at least a sentence.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR FEATURED 6 x 2 GRID:
For a post that you want to be in the 6 featured grid:
- tag the post as “featured” in the right hand field labeled “Tags”
- select the “set featured image” field on the right and select an image.
- The grid will show the 6 newest featured posts
INCLUDING A FLICKR SLIDESHOW:
To add a slideshow to your post:
- Go to the CrossCultural Flicker Page at http://www.flickr.com/photos/30221674@N03/
- Go to ‘Albums’ tab – located in between ‘Photostream’ & ‘Favorites’
- Go to the desired Set by clicking on the set(album)
- In the URL select the last numbers in the URL
for example for: flickr.com/photos/30221674@N03/sets/72157643278953153/ you’d want to grab 72157643278953153
- paste it into the ‘Flickr Set ID’ field in the ‘Extra Info’ in the post editor page
- Enter the post author’s name into the “Author” field (optional)
