Institute for Experiential Therapies
About the Institute
The Institute for Experiential Therapies offers training that brings together current neuroscience and practices of embodied presence for healing.
We believe that the key to lasting life change is the capacity to engage the whole person – body, mind and spirit – in both verbal and non-verbal modalities, trusting and supporting the whole body’s natural capacity to implicitly sense and actualize growth and healing potentials.
Our trainings offer a variety of avenues for exploration, training and certification.
Our Continuing Education and Expert Speaker Series invites leading professionals to share their research and clinical expertise in instructional trainings.
Committed to creating a community of practitioners open to the power of the healing and expressive arts, the Institute for Experiential Therapies brings together the neuroscience of intersubjectivity with the wisdom of diverse healing practices as we journey together toward wholeness.
Continuing Education and Expert Speaker Series
Our continuing education series offers trainings for mental health service providers seeking continuing education hours for license renewal. In addition, this series offers clinicians and interested professionals the opportunity to work with master practitioners. Exciting guest speakers will be invited to present, like world renown psychologist and leader, Dan Goleman who visited in April 2016, internationally recognized poet, David Whyte who came in February 2014 or Sue Johnson who facilitated a training in March 2011. Follow up for that training is now available.
Our unique professional and para-professional training in the healing and expressive arts offers a rich context to explore the learning from a variety of practices that seek whole-person healing.
