Why I Came To EMU

Finding a workplace with a supportive atmosphere and a sense of community was important to me, and I’d heard good things about EMU, so I decided to put in an application. EMU turned out to be everything I’d heard about and more!

Favorite Things To Do In Harrisonburg

I like to explore the hiking spots and great views that come with living in the Shenandoah Valley, but truth be told, I’m also pretty indoorsy, so I like to go to the game stores in town to check out their tabletop games and board games. I also really love to catch performances from local bands. There’s a lot to do!

Why I Love to Work at EMU

There are so many admirable folks at EMU. There are activists, artists, thinkers, theologians—passionate people everywhere you look. Being surrounded by them keeps me motivated to be my best self and strive for excellence in what I do.
