- Georgetown University Urbach Lab at the Lombardi Cancer Center – This internship involves conducting experiments in cancer cell metastasis along with other lab members, using high-powered 3D microscope technology. The internship supervisor is highly committed to giving students hands-on experience, and past interns have been invited not only to carry out experiments, but to design and implement their own. Students gain experience with benchwork, recording data, biology lab protocol, and psychics technology.
- National Institutes of Health – Laboratory heads within the many divisions of the of the nation’s largest health research organization are often willing to take on volunteer interns during the fall and spring semesters.
