Busy week before rest

Hello there readers, great to know that yall are taking the time to read this blog and I hope sincerely that I am helping you as you are deciding whether or not to attend EMU next year or in the future.
One thing I hate that people do when selling colleges is they leave out the fact that you are busy. It isn’t all fun and games. It requires you to be determined. To do what is required of you in all your classes. This semester, my classes are much more dedicated to my majors, Theatre and History. I am basically taking mostly theatre classes this semester because I am just starting the major, pretty much. It is difficult actually trying to plan every single class that I will take in a certain major; you really have to find what you like and go with it.
But back to being busy! This week, I have two tests at the end of the week and a sizey paper to write, as well. Sounds like a lot, eh? I know it does, and I can only seem to get it all done by figuring out adequate study habits that work for me. One thing I like to challenge the first years on my hall to do is find the best way they study. DO WHAT WORKS! Just because some people need utter silence while studying doesn’t mean that you do. Find what works for you while in high school so you aren’t clueless when you arrive at EMU. And just because maybe you never had to study in high school doesn’t mean you won’t have to in college. Its different.
So when looking into colleges, whether EMU or otherwise, notice more than just the fun aspect, notice how the school promotes studying and succeeding in school.
That’s enough for me… for now
