This week Dave updates the activities of the post season for the spring teams and talks about the plans for staff during the summer months. While not specifically related to athletics, Dave gives a brief overview of the commencement address by Mark Shriver and encourages listeners to listen to the podcast of the graduation exercises. Plans are underway for renovations on the baseball field that includes new in-ground dugouts, a brick wall backstop, safety netting and new seating options.  Design plans will be completed soon and fundraising will begin with the anticipation of starting the work by fall and completing it by the start of the 2013-2014 season.

Inside Athletics is a weekly podcast hosted by Director of Athletics, Dave King. The podcast offers a synopsis of what is happening in EMU athletics, but also delves deeper into how athletics at EMU shapes lives and enhances college educations by positively impacting an athlete’s understanding of self, others, and God.
