Louis Yako, EMU professor of Elementary Arabic, speaks for a true peace out of his personal experience with wars in the Middle East.  “As I share some of my personal experiences of war, I’d like to strongly make a case that, based on my real life experiences, of wars … that none of the wars we have had throughout history have succeeded to bring peace on this earth. Wars, I believe, are at best no more than temporary periods where one party gets the illusion of victory.
