Kristen Wall is a research assistant for the Policy Studies program at the Kroc Institute for International Peace Studies at the University of Notre Dame. She began practicing Nonviolent Communication (NVC) in 2006 and has taught NVC, trauma healing, restorative justice, and conflict transformation in prisons, religious congregations, and graduate programs. Prior to studying NVC, Kristen worked on political campaigns in the U.S. and at the National Democratic Institute for International Affairs in their Central and Eastern Europe division. Kristen is an enthusiastic graduate of Eastern Mennonite University’s M.A. program in Conflict Transformation, and holds a BA in Politics from Princeton University.
Kristen will be teaching Nonviolent Communication at CJP in the Fall of 2011 with Tarek Maassarani.
