Long Term Care Ombudsman

2009: I am taking a new opportunity in Oregon.  I will be one of five Deputy Long Term Care Ombudsmen…under the State Long Term Care Ombudsman.  My work will be very similar to my work in Ohio.

In December 2006 I began a position as aLong Term Care Ombudsman in Dayton , Ohio. I am working with residents of these nursing homes and other long term care facilities to assist them in resolving complaints they have with the services they receive and in protection of their rights. This entails working in 50 or more facilities in three counties of western Ohio.
