EMU Lancaster and HACC partner in education

Eastern Mennonite University at Lancaster and Harrisburg Area Community College (HACC) signed a dual admissions agreement on October 9, 2013.

The agreement provides a mechanism for students to transition from the associate degree in nursing program at HACC to the RN to bachelor of science degree in nursing program at EMU Lancaster. HACC associate degree in nursing students who submit their intention to attend EMU Lancaster receive individualized curriculum advisement and are guaranteed admission following successful completion of the requirements.

The agreement supports Pennsylvania Governor Tom Corbett’s effort to ensure community college students receive the education and training needed to transfer to a four-year college or university.

EMU Lancaster, located in the Greenfield Corporate Center, offers both undergraduate and graduate degrees in nursing, as well as certification and continuing education programs.
