"Shekinah," a 12-member women’s a cappella ensemble, will present their final concert of the school year 7 p.m. Friday, Apr. 22, in Martin Chapel of the seminary building at Eastern Mennonite University.

The program will feature a variety of different musical styles, including folk hymns, spirituals, classical church music and some secular pieces.

This female singing group is comprised of recent graduates and current students of EMU.

The concert is free; a free-will offering will be taken to support the group’s ministry.

"Shekinah" means "the presence of God among them" (Romans 9:4; Exodus 16:10).
