We’re pleased to introduce myEMU (my.emu.edu) wich replaces the EMU Portal and integrates with our new Jenzabar student information system. Using myEMU, students can see grades and business office account information. Faculty and staff can view their employee information and human resources forms. Everyone can see the latest EMU news, events, and eClassifieds postings, and much more. And we’ll be adding more information in the coming months. (more…)
Info Systems understands that there is a need for access to GoldMine for occasional, read-only reference, even though it has been superseded by Jenzabar EX. The two GoldMine installations — for undergrad and ADCP — will remain available until 28 Feb. 2010.
Support for GoldMine will be limited to ensuring that the application loads and that basic features are available. Integration support for MS Office and database restoration will not be provided. Please do not make changes to data in GoldMine.
Information Systems has finalized plans to kickoff the Jenzabar EX implementation with the first round of “training trips” beginning in October, 2007. February 2009 has been targetted as the “go-live” date for the new Windows-based system from Jenzabar to replace the AS400-based system currently used by EMU.
One of the first activities in our plan to convert our current Student Information System (SIS) from Jenzabar TE to Jenzabar EX is to have Jenzabar provide two overview sessions and a series of department module presentations: (more…)
The Student Information System (SIS) is the core electronic operations management system used by EMU. It is a centralized data repository/database that must remain flexible, robust and scaleable in order to provide interfaces to a growing number of subsystems for departmental operations throughout the institution.
