Palanga

April 25th, 2010 – by Jerry Holsopple (category: Lithuania, Photography)

We spent our last Saturday walking at the beach and in the parks at Palanga. It is still fun to walk to the bus station, and take a ride to your planned destination. The green was pushing out so I shot a bunch of infrared images mostly near the sea. The last of this series is a monument to Jews killed by the Nazi forces. Click on the image to see more infrared.

Along the main walkway to the sea, were massive eggs still on display from Easter. A few fisherman were braving the cold but nothing like during the warmer months. We also got to see some dancers and shot a few photos of the large church that is right next to the bus station. Click on the photo to see more.
