Icon painting in the cold winter
February 9th, 2010 – by Jerry Holsopple (category: Icon Writing, Lithuania)
We have been experiencing cold temperatures and a pile of snow. That means I’m not out photographing as much, but spending more time painting. If you look out my kitchen window you can see the pile of snow. I don’t have a car so I don’t have to worry about driving in the ruts, but walking is still a challenge.

I am finishing the first icon, Archangel Michael, and working on my second. Here I am at the place in our apartment where I do all of my painting. Click on the image to see more.

Hey Jerry,
Looks like you’re getting some great snow there! We’re in the middle of the second wave of blizzards. Stuck at home with nowhere to go.
Looks like you are learning a lot!
