Eastern Mennonite University

Initial conversations on Attachment theory, Anabaptism, the science of love, healthy relationships, and spirituality... brought to you by members and friends of the EMU community.

Members and friends of the Eastern Mennonite University (EMU) community will be blogging our thoughts and reflections on Attachment theory and Anabaptism in advance of the transdisciplinary, national conference for students, faculty, health care and social service professional and agencies, pastors, counselors, parents, & others.  Attachment theory supported by recent neuroscience research argues that healthy bonding relationships are important for survival & flourishing life.  Anabaptism is diverse, inclusive and concerned with how to be loving and vulnerable while following Christ’s example, as well as how to be life giving, not death-dealing and effective service and faithfulness.  If you are interested in seeing how Anabaptist perspectives can form and shape discussions of attachment, please join this conversation.
