Interlibrary Loan procedures
The library is now managing interlibrary loan requests (ILL) through ILLiad. All users of ILL will have an ILLiad account which they will use to manage their own requests.
ILLiad will be accessible through the library’s website.
Users will login to ILLiad using their Royal username and password.
In ILLiad patrons can request books, articles, book chapters, and other materials through a number of request forms. This is also where patrons can manage their account.
When using databases like Academic Search Complete, you will continue to see the “Check here to locate this article” link when no full-text is available. If not available in other databases, use the “Request this item through interlibrary loan (ILLiad)”. You will be asked to login to your ILLiad account.
When requesting items through WorldCat look for the “Send request to ILLiad” link.
